Back to school at last!!!!

After 12 weeks of fun in the sun it was back to school on Monday for Sarah. Yipee!!! Brogan was sad to see her go and wouldn't leave her side, he wanted to go to school too.

A Birthday lunch.

Having lunch to celebrate my friend Marilyn's birthday (the one on the right). The middle one is Angie. We went to The Grotto, a very nice Italian restuarant. Not much wonder the pounds are piling on!!!!.

Lake Livingston

About an hours drive away is the beautiful Lake Livingston. As you can see at the opposite end of the lake a thunderstorm was brewing, however, we had a lovely picnic on the 'sunny' side of the Lake.

We went on one of the hiking trails which can be found all round the Lake.

Johnny, Janette & Jodie visit

We had a great time with you and hope you enjoyed your visit to Texas. Johnny relaxed at the pool while the 'girls' went shopping.Out for a walk in the town centre. It took us a minute to realise no one else was out walking - it may have something to do with it being 100F.

Enjoying the cool of the water fountains at Waterway Square. At night the fountains are coloured and choreographed to music.

Becasue my cooking skills are not too hot it was best to eat out. Not much wonder our weight has gone up since coming to Texas.

Here we have Brogan drooling over Jodie patiently waiting for some key lime pie. Brogan behaved with our visitors (well as good as it gets with Brogan) and says he misses his nightly treat of a white box (doggie bag from the restuarants). 9 times out of 10 the box got eaten too!!!!!

Happy Birthday Sarah

Sarah was delighted to have family around to celebrate her birthday. We all went bowling and finished it off with a lovely piece of ice cream cake yum...........

Stuart & Jennifer Visit

Stuart & Jennifer spent the second part of their holiday with us in Houston. This photo makes it official - Stuart & Brogan are now best friends. Its taken a while but the bond was made during this visit . As you can see Stuart took home his left overs for Brogan ahh...................... Enlarge the photo below and ask yourself.

Viva Las Vegas

We met up with Stuart & Jennifer in Las Vegas, pictured here in our hotel lobby.Gordon & Stuart with the most expensive drink of the holiday. The total cost for two margaritas and a bottle of water $60 !!!!!!!. The first and last, they stuck to beers after that.
We visited most hotels on the Strip. They all have a theme and are all beautifully decorated.
