Visit to the Museum of Natural Science

We decided to go Downtown to the Museum of Natural Science today. As you can see below Downtown just appears as a mass of high rise office blocks and a maze of unknown streets. With the help of our friend 'Tom Tom' we managed to navigate to our destination without too much hassle.

Sarah enjoyed herself especially with the interactive games. She also enjoyed the dinosaurs, wild animals and a special exhibit on Rome.



We also visited the Butterfly Atrium and enjoyed the beautiful specimens, some of which we also see in our garden.

Hermann Park

It was in the high 90's when we got out of the Museum so we decided to have a stroll round a little of Hermann Park.

Has Brogans training been worth while?

Here I am after stealing the contents of the shopping bag. I ate Dads new socks, 4 chicken stock cubes, a packet of Taco Seasoning and tried to chew my way through a tube of cream. I had a very sore tummy today.

New Car

We are proper Americans now with our new SUV. A Toyota Rav 4 V6 - very powerful. Better watch for the speed cops!!!

Graduation

After only 10 months, Sarah graduated from Buckalew Elementary. Here she is with her President's Award for Excellence coming out in the top 15 of her year. We are very proud of her. She is going to Mitchell Intermediate School in August.

Horse Riding

Sarah loves her horse riding lessons. Here she is riding Pepper but her favourite horse is Tiffany. She goes horse riding every thursday and is coming on great.

Buckalew Beach Bash

Buckalew Beach Bash was a fund raiser for th e school and a thank you to the kids for an excellent year. Buckalew came out the 7th top school in all of Texas. Sarah had a great time and ended up with Horse Riding Lessons at the silent auction.

Linda & Robert's visit

Linda & Robert came over in April. We went over to San Antonio for the weekend and Gordon & Robert had to have a giant Margherita.

Rosehearty in March

We went home to Rosehearty for Spring break. We miss the landscape, the lovely sunsets and our house.

Our new arrival

Brogan arrived in January 2007 after being rescued from the grounds at Gordon's work along with his brothers & sisters.

Granda's Visit

Granda arrived in February for a 3 week holiday. As you can see he enjoyed his food!!! at Kemah Beach.

New Year

The New Year came in quietly. Not at all like our Rosehearty New Years. The garden is starting to bloom and we have our first tree frog.

Christmas

Christmas 2006 came with the purchase of our house at Pine Island and a visit from Mark. Santa also came too with a bike for Sarah.

Thanksgiving

Jennifer was our first visitor. We spent Thanksgiving at Galveston Beach.

Halloween

Getting Around

Our first big purchase in Houston. A Toyota Camry for Gordon and a Corolla for Jennifer. No stoping us now.
