Oh we do like to be beside the seaside !!

I took Marjory and Peter down to Kemah for the day. I dont know who the person at the top left is but he came with us around the Boardwalk. Spooky!!!!!!!!!!!

Marjory makes friends with one of the natives. He didnt have a lot to say for himself.

Fellowship of the Woodlands

Sunday morning saw us up bright and early for the 9.30 am service at The Fellowship of the Woodlands. Here is a picture of Marjory, Rose and Peter beside the prayer fountain and cross outside the Church.

Texas Renaissance Festival

We all had a great time at the Festival. You will now notice that we have a new visitor, Gordon's friend Peter all the way from sunny Shetland. This festival runs each weekend through October & November this weekend had a medieval theme with lots of people dressed up in all sorts of medieval clothing. We even came across some pipers in the 'Scotish' corner of the festival dressed in their kilts - their choice of tunes were a bit obscure - Queen's We Will Rock You!!!!

A visit to Old Town Spring was first on our list.

Jean, Allan & Rose's visit

We thoroughly enjoyed the company of Jean, Allan & Rose on their first visit to Houston. We were so busy that the camera wasnt out in full force but did manage to get a few snaps. The cheescake factory was a hit as was the local mexican restuarant. Since Jean left for home the Houston economy has hit a big slump!!!!! The shops miss you and welocme you back any time!!!!
